S.W.I.M’s approach is designed not solely as a reaction to an existing crisis, but which primarily aims to grasp the issue and take charge of the actions, thoughts, cultures, and beliefs which may make us more vulnerable to being the victims of Domestic Violence.
40 million children in the world are subjected to abuse each year. That’s the size of the entire population of Spain SWIM – £55k from Reaching Communities to develop and deliver a virtual workshop programme for young people to tackle domestic violence in the Croydon area. Funding covers staff costs and platform development for 1 year.
In the past 12 months S.W.I.M. have paid £14670 with £120K returned in grants.
